Has terrible bedside manner
Patients with cancer news are to be treated with dignity and compassion!! My experience was that he was trying to bully his way into making me commit to surgery with him and not exploring my own options as an individual for other treatment methods. The lack of compassion that he showed me at the basic level was AWFUL. It’s your job as a doctor to make your patience feel like they have someone who cares about their quality of life and all the details about surgery versus radiation therapy and I got NONE of that. The man is not a cancer oncologist so don’t just go along with his high-pressure sales tactic to get surgical removal done you’re the patient you have the right to know about what you are doing and how it’s going to affect your quality of life. A doctor should care about a patient’s quality of life and not just look at the fastest way to deal with something. I found no compassion or with this doctor. Now everyone at Moffitt Cancer Center treats me kindly with compassion.

Fantastic Doctor. Very Knowledgeable and professional. I went to many urologists before going to Dr. Sirohie, and he resolved my urinary issue with one minor surgery. Thanks to my new primary who recommended this doctor.

Poor rapport
Went to appt he came in said a few words showed me my scans and basically asked me what I think he should do in regards to my health concern . He did not do any testing or give me a plan that he would recommend instead of asking me what I should recommend. Came in confused as to why I had a kidney cyst the size of a golf ball and left more confused with no answers as to what the next step would be . As a specialist I expected for him to be thorough instead of looking at one scan from er , he should have sent me for an MRI , ultrasound, and perform a biopsy as to what exactly we are dealing with instead of looking at one scan and writing me off it can stay there , or whatever you want to do is what I was told . I highly question his expertise and will be looking for a second opinion.

Highly recommend Dr. Sirohi—excellent bedside manner, is intelligent, and a good listener. I went to see him because my primary doc saw blood in my urine and was concerned. Dr. S. did some tests and eventually diagnosed me with a bladder tumor. He gave me a couple of options, and my family and I thought removing the bladder would be the best because cancer had spread into the deeper layer of the bladder. Dr. S. did the surgery robotically. I stayed in the hospital for four days and am doing great without any cancer left behind for over two years now!

I was visiting my son in Tampa when I got sick and went to the ER. My world ended when the ER doctor said he noticed a big mass on my left kidney on the scan. Lucky for me, the ER doc knew Dr. Sirohi, and he got me in his office the same week. Dr. Sirohi did a few more tests and recommended robotic surgery. I have to be honest; I had never heard of such a thing before and didn't even know it was possible to do something like that. So I researched Dr. Sirohi and knew he was the right guy for me cause he is a trained Robotic Surgeon. The surgery was quick, according to my wife. I was sent home the next day and haven't looked back, living my best life. I feel blessed to live in this era where you can have part of your kidney removed and go home the next day.

Very Smart
I could not pee and had a catheter for almost a month. I was miserable. Luckily was able to see Dr. Sirohi reasonably quickly, and he went over many different options. I decided to go through the robotic procedure based on his recommendation. I went home the next day, had a catheter for about two weeks, and oh boy, I started peeing like a young boy. Thank you, Dr. Sirohi and the entire team, who took great care of me.

I had been suffering for years from urinary problems because my previous surgery from another urologist did not work. When I was referred to Dr. Sirohi, I wasn't convinced that anyone would be able to help me. However, Dr. Sirohi spent a reasonable amount of time with me and booked me for surgery. Viola! Two days after surgery, my issue resolved to 90%, and one week later, it was all gone. I'm old, and my quality of life has been significantly affected, but now I can live everyday life.

Very Bad Experience from his Nurse
Dr Sirohi himself is a good doctor but unfortunately his nurse / staff is not good at all at Florida Urology Partners at Riverview location. I had an appointment with him on Monday, 3 days ago and the nurse write down the name and address of my Pharmacy the same time and I still have not recieved my medicine at my Pharmacy. Left 2 voicemails to his nurse but got no reply, they never answer their phone, NEVER MEANS NEVER, I am been going at this location from last 18 months. AND I went there myself again yesterday morning on Wednesday and the rude girl at the front office wrote down name and address of my Pharmany and again, today Thurday has passed and again my Pharmacy has not recieved any mediceine from them. Dr Mohit Sirohi if you can read this review, than please act on these issues.

Pre and Post surgery visit
The first visit was a good experience. Dr was willing to address all of our concerns. The post-surgery visit was UNPLEASANT experience. Dr was in a hurry, not willing to address or explain all our medical concerns because as a patient we do not need to understand all the medical information associate with our conditions. In some way disrespectful to the patients' needs and feelings. We wait for a week after the visit to receive pain medications. Good medical skills but poor patient rapport.

Worst Urologist Ever!
I was diagnosed with prostatitis. I actually chose this doctor in error and what a mistake and nightmare that was. Communication was abysmal! Never gave me results to any test or exam. He continually attempted to persuade me to have surgery without me knowing to severity of my case. Dr. Sirohi had me on a Catheter for close to 2-months. I decided on a second opinion. Visited another Urologist and upon entering the exam room, He state: " The Catheter needs to be removed. Its causing more harm than good". The Doctor performed a Cystoscopy and showed me how the Catheter was irritating my Bladder. Additionally, He said:" You should urinate normally once it's removed." After just the first visit, I started urinating normally. It's been a year since Catheter was removed and thank God I am still able to urinate without any medication, pain or urgency. Stay Away From Dr. Mohit Sirohi. You Have Been Warned!!

Dr Sirohi was always very compassionate and professional. He removed part of my right kidney and it was a robotic procedure. I was told Dr. Sirohi is highly trained in these procedures and sure enough the surgery went great. I felt like a million bucks the very next day. First and second scan showed no cancer and I am thoroughly enjoying my life. I have the utmost respect for doctors like Dr. Sirohi who are in medical field for all the right reasons.

Dr Sirohi made me and my family feel very comfortable and hopeful. My uncle was diagnosed with Kidney cancer and his primary doctor had recommended Dr. Sirohi and we could not be more thankful. He spent a long time explaining everything about the surgery and by the end of the visit, my uncle left the office feeling very positive though he was a nervous wreck when we left the house. The surgery went very well and Dr Sirohi was able to remove all of the cancer and my uncle is doing very well now. If you are looking for a great, caring urologist, he is your guy.

Dr. Sirohi was very friendly, knowledgeable and was very patient with me. He came up with a plan for my frequent urinary tract infection problem that was easy for me to follow and since then I have not had an infection. I would highly recommend Dr. Sirohi if you need to see a Urologist.

I trust and made a great choice with Dr Mohit Sirohi. He's dedicated and experienced, has a great personality, explaining in details any problems you are having. On having a procedure done, I was uneasy and fearful until I saw him. This was an experience I had never gone through before, felt comfortable with what was being explained and lost fear of procedure, becoming more concerned of not getting it done. I highly recommend Dr Mohit Sirohi.

I had a health issue and needed to get in to see a urologist as soon as possible that would accept my insurance. After making several phone calls I called Dr. Sirohi's office and the staff was nice enough to schedule an appointment for me the next day. The office as well as Dr. Sirohi helped me through a very difficult time. Dr. Sirohi explained my tests results to me in terms that I could understand, as well as he explained what my treatment course was going to be. Thank you Dr. Sirohi
