Biography: Syed Ali, M.D., F.A.C.P. is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and received his medical degree from Osmania University. Dr. Ali specializes in internal medicine at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, and is a practicing internist at Brooksville Primary Care in Brooksville, Florida. An internist is a physician who diagnoses and treats medical diseases and also provides preventive health care for family members age 15 and above. Dr. Ali completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He practiced Internal Medicine several years in a community based clinic in Rockford, Illinois, before relocating to Florida. He is actively involved in the Hernando community and strives to improve access to health care for all local people. One such example is his active participation in the Crescent Community Clinic, which caters to the medically uninsured in our area.

Care Philosophy: I listen to my patients, get to know them on a personal level, and provide appropirate education to imrove their overall health.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Cook joined our Center in August 2006. She completed fellowship in adult reconstruction and sports medicine at Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. Dr. Cook specializes in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Cook's areas of expertise includes knee and hip replacements, arthrocospy of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and fracture management.

Care Philosophy: Family medicine allows me to care for the whole family, from infants to senior's. While in residency, I was able to focus on women and children and their special health needs. This, along with my tradional training in family care allows me to treat the whole person as an interelated health system, as well as dealing with the symptoms that brings the patient to my practice.
