Care Philosophy: Shomari A. Ruffin, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine. His goal is to address the patients lifestyle and injury when determining a treatment for an injury. He is a board certified surgeon and is qualified in the latest treatment advancements in both general orthopedics as well as sports medicine. He completed his Sports Medicine fellowship in 2014 at the renowned American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. He is a Georgia native and graduated from The Marist School before graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia for medical school and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University.

Care Philosophy: As a primary care physician, I believe in providing a comprehensive range of services to my patients, and doing so with a compassionate and respectful demeanor. I have become intensely invested in more preventative measures to avoid the illness that comes with overwhelming diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and stroke.
