Biography: David Kanar joined CKC in June of 2023. He was born in Chicago where he did most his medicaltraining at Finch University of Health Sciences and then Loyola University Medical Center. He then didhis nephrology fellowship at Long Island Jewish. He worked at South Denver Nephrology until movingto rural Nebraska and then rural Colorado where he did both primary care and nephrology.His professional interests in nephrology cover the full spectrum of general nephrology, kidneydiseases, electrolyte disorders, secondary hypertension, dialysis and transplant.His personal interests include many of the outdoor activities that are available here in Colorado. As aformer gymnast, he coaches his son for gymnastics. His daughter does ballet.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Springer enjoys caring for a variety of patients with Infectious Disease issues. She is known for being compassionate and thorough. She seeks to be available to patients and colleagues whenever possible, by phone or email. She communicates closely with other providers and family members when needed. In addition to general Infectious Diseases, Dr. Springer is involved with Travel Medicine and Infection Control.
