Biography: Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Andrew Parker was drawn to orthopaedics out of a desire to help people of all ages regain lost function and return to the activities or sports they enjoy. After earning a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dr. Parker returned to his hometown and graduated magna cum laude from medical school at the University of Louisville. He then moved to Chicago where he completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University. Dr. Parker concluded his formal medical education by completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, Texas. Fascinated by the technical aspects of his specialty, Dr. Parker likes the challenges of the ever-changing field of orthopaedics. He especially enjoys the doctor-patient relationships that he has developed because he feels most orthopaedic patients are ``motivated and proactive about their recovery.`` As an active and respected participant in many professional medical organizations, Dr. Parker has delivered numerous presentations and educational seminars at orthopaedic conferences around the country. Currently, Dr. Parker serves as a team physician for the Washington Redskins. He also has significant experience in the area of sports medicine having cared for athletes from the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and Northwestern University. Additionally, he served as team physician for DC United and he served as assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the University of Houston while doing his fellowship.

Biography: Dr. David Lee specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He chose orthopedic surgery because, by studying and mastering the incredible complex anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, he could help people return to their normal form and function. His goal as an orthopedist is to get patients back to doing the activities they love and to help them live pain-free. We have many treatments options to offer patients, including therapy, injections, and surgery, if needed. Most of all, Dr. Lee looks forward to forming meaningful relationships with his patients, answering their questions, and involving them in shared decision making. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with his wife, hiking, running, and cycling.

Care Philosophy: As a pioneer in spinal health care, Dr. Hasz has been using minimally invasive techniques (MIS) for over a decade in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan region. His minimally invasive practice includes the use of novel robot-guidance, endoscopy, and laser techniques as indicated. He is also a leader in artificial disc technologies. His dedication to advancing spinal health care has him actively participating in clinical trials and studies. He was one of the first in the region to use the MetRx MIS system for lumbar and cervical surgery, the DLIF/XLIF approach for spinal fusion and deformity work, the Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty procedures for spinal fractures, the IDET procedure for low back pain, and the ProDisc artificial disc. He is pioneering minimally invasive surgery techniques for the treatment of sacroiliac joint dysfunction. He works with athletes and weekend warriors to get them back to their active lifestyles as quickly and safely as possible.
