Biography: Eric Swisher, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. Dr. Swisher earned his Medical Doctorate at the Medical College of Virginia and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Prior to medical school, he attended University of Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Biography: Harris M. Wexler, DO, is an Ob/Gyn in Salem, Virginia. He joins the physician practice of LewisGale Physicians Salem Ob/Gyn and the active medical staff of LewisGale Medical Center.Dr. Wexler earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He continued his education with his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. While a resident, Dr. Wexler received the AAGL Surgical Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology award and the Top Resident for Medical Student Teaching honor for completing the most teaching topics for Ob/Gyn medical students.Dr. Wexler is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
