Biography: Dr. Noa Zemer Wassercug is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in adult congenital heart disease. She is an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and an assistant attending cardiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP). Dr. Zemer Wassercug's clinical expertise is focused on adult congenital heart echocardiography and pregnancy management in women with congenital heart disease. Biography: Torsten P. Vahl, MD, is the Director of Translational Research and is an attending physician at the Columbia Structural Heart and Valve Center and Columbia Interventional Cardiovascular Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Vahl is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Vahl is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and internal medicine. He specializes in the percutaneous treatment of coronary artery and structural heart disease and cardiac catheterization. His primary focus is on transcatheter aortic valve replacements, transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement, and left atrial appendage closure. Dr. Vahl is also very involved in many preclinical and first-in-human studies through his association with the Cardiovascular Research Foundation. For example, Dr. Vahl led the ALIGN-AR trial as a national PI, a position that evolved out of his experience with the device from the preclinical studies. Dr. Vahl frequently proctors other interventional cardiologists on TAVR in aortic regurgitation with the Trilogy valve and on TMVR with the Cephea valve. Within the left atrial appendage closure, Dr. Vahl has been very active in developing our intracardiac echo program which allows patients to get this procedure without the need for general anesthesia and TEE. Dr. Vahl attended medical school at the Philipps-Universitt in Marburg, Germany. He did his internal medicine residency and his cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He also completed a fellowship in both interventional cardiology and structural interventional cardiology, focusing on valvular heart disease, at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Biography: Jeffrey W. Moses, MD, is a renowned interventional cardiologist and Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Moses serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiovascular Therapeutics at Columbia Interventional Cardiovascular Care and the Director of Advanced Cardiac Interventions at St Francis Hospital and Heart Center in Roslyn, NY.With a track record of over 18,000 interventional procedures, Dr. Moses is an accomplished researcher. He has served as a lead investigator for numerous national and international clinical studies and authored over 600 publications, many focusing on the effectiveness and safety of coronary stent placement. Biography: Dr. William Prabhu is an interventional cardiologist at Columbia. He graduated from SUNY Upstate medical school at Syracuse in 2009. He completed residency and a chief residency at UVM medical center from 2009-2012. He then completed general cardiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart and peripheral vascular fellowships at Brown University from 2013-2018. From 2018-2021 he practiced primarily in Rockland county performing the highest volume of cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, and TAVRs in the county during his time there. In 2022, he joined the faculty at Columbia's Interventional Cardiovascular Care program. Along with his busy clinical responsibilities, Dr. Prabhu participates in multiple randomized controlled trials as part of his academic work with CUIMC.Dr. Prabhu performs cardiac catheterizations, peripheral vascular, and structural heart procedures at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is the Associate Director of the cardiac Cath lab at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. After finishing a congestive-heart failure-cardiac transplant fellowship at Columbia in 2005 she went on to complete her fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases there in 2009.She is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, Center for Advanced Cardiac Care, Associate Director of the Adult Pulmonary Hypertension Program, and the Director of the Cardio-Obstetrics program.Dr. Haythe specializes in heart failure, cardiac transplant, pulmonary hypertension, women's cardiovascular disease and cardio-obstetrics.
