Care Philosophy: Jeffrey C. Chiu, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with AdventHealth Medical Group in Orlando. He performs all types of general surgery procedures, with a special emphasis on minimally invasive approaches to breast, endocrine and gastrointestinal conditions. Dr. Chiu earned his medical degree at the Florida State University College of Medicine and undertook his general surgery residency at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) in Orlando, where he himself was born.

Care Philosophy: Bernadette Profeta, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who consults with patients at AdventHealth Medical Group's surgical specialty offices in east Orlando. Patients are frequently referred to her care due to her expertise in minimally invasive surgical procedures to address swallowing disorders paraesophageal, inguinal and ventral hernias and gastrointestinal and solid organ diseases.
