Biography: Dr. Timothy Selway, MD is an Internist who practices in Spring Hill, FL. He is 40 years old. Dr. Timothy Selway, MD is affiliated with Tampa General Hospital Brooksville and Tampa General Hospital.

Care Philosophy: David Herndon, DO comes to Access Health Care directly from completing his residency in Family Medicine as Largo Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident from 2012-2013. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine medical degree from A.T. Still University at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. He has particular interest in geriatric medicine as well as sports medicine. Dr. Herndon accepts patients from age five through geriatrics. Dr. Herndon and his staff enjoy caring for the whole family. New patients always welcome.

Biography: Dr. Viviana A. Melendez Muniz, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician at HCA Florida Oak Hill Family Care. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and recently graduated from the Kaiser Permanente Community Medicine and Global Health Fellowship. Dr. Melendez Muniz completed her medical degree at the Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where she developed a vocation for global medicine and serving underserved populations. She went on to specialize in Family Medicine, completing her residency at the University of Puerto Rico Family Medicine Residency. She played a leading role in her residency and the community by helping to improve health education and social determinants of health through community clinics and improving residency curriculums. She also served as Chief Resident in her last year of Residency. She expanded her education and strengthened her teaching skills by completing a community medicine fellowship after residency. Her interests include medical education, underserved medicine, Hispanic/Latino medicine, tropical medicine, global health, minor procedures, health policy and health disparities. Dr. Melendez Muniz treats all aspects of family medicine from pediatrics to geriatrics with an emphasis on preventive care.

Care Philosophy: Our goals are to provide spinal care with the least amount of risk to our patients. We are trained in both minimally invasive and major reconstructive spinal surgery. We obtained this unique training by completing two different fellowships in spinal surgery instead of the traditional single fellowship; one in minimally invasive spinal treatment and one in major reconstructive spinal treatment.
