Biography: Alex Borchert, MD, is a well-trained robotic surgeon who specializes in repairing and restoring the urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and urethra) and genitals. Biography: Linda Hsu, MD, is a surgical specialist who treats benign urologic conditions as well as tumors of the prostate, bladder, kidney and other genitourinary organs. _x000D_ Dr. Hsu works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure her patients are aware of all options that today's cutting-edge urologic care has to offer, both inside and outside the operating room. She strives to offer optimal, compassionate patient care founded on a mutual understanding that allows her to work together with patients to achieve the best outcomes possible.

Care Philosophy: I really enjoy the practice of Urology because as urologists, we have the opportunity to apply both medical and surgical solutions to help patients manage a breadth of conditions ranging from impacting quality of life issues to genitourinary cancers. Biography: Christian Kuhr, MD, is a board-certified urologist with special medical interest in kidney and pancreas transplantation and kidney cancer surgery. Dr. Kuhr's lab focuses on the mechanisms of immune tolerance as they relate to organ transplantation and cancer treatment.Dr. Kuhr feels privileged to work with patients and to witness the transformative effects of transplantation, both for the patients and their families. The process of transplant surgery requires a lot of trust between patient and physician, and Dr. Kuhr works hard to built this trust.Dr. Kuhr is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is part of Benaroya Research Institute, a clinical associate professor of surgery and urology at the University of Washington, and affiliate in research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He has been named a Top Doctor by Seattle Metropolitan and Seattle magazines.When not caring for patients or in the laboratory, Dr. Kuhr enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and dog, hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling and running. He also enjoys the outdoors, travel and music.
