Care Philosophy: Dr Amod Sarnaik is a surgical oncologist in the Department of Cutaneous Oncology,the Immunology Program and the Melanoma Center of Excellence at Moffitt Cancer Center. In addition, Dr Sarnaik holds an appointmentof associate professor of oncology and surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr Sarnaik's primary research interest involves investigation of novel immunotherapeutic treatments for melanoma. This includes tumor-based vaccines, immune-activating antibodies, targeted inhibition of oncogenic proteins and autologous T-cell therapy. His clinical interests focus on the surgical treatment of melanoma and other cutaneous-based skin cancers, sentinel lymph node biopsy techniques, and minimizing surgically-related morbidities.

He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Huang then went on to complete a fellowship with the LifeLink Transplant Institute in Tampa. He currently serves as the surgical director of renal transplantation for Tampa General Medical Group and is the vice chief of general surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Huang also holds an affiliate assistant professor appointment from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, department of surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, basketball, violin and photography. Dr. Huang is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish and French.

Biography: Marian Porubsky, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon and transplant surgeon. He is fully-trained in all aspects of abdominal transplant surgery including liver, kidney and pancreas transplants as well as laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. He also specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract and pancreas. A native of Slovakia, Dr. Porubsky completed his medical training at Komensky University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
