Care Philosophy: Dr Chadha is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. After graduating from New York University, he completed his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Most recently, he completed a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr Chadha's focus is solid tumor oncology, with clinical interests in genitourinary tract tumors, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, and thoracic malignancies.

Care Philosophy: Dr Sophie Dessureault is a surgical oncologist in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is a professor of oncology and surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr Dessureault graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University School of Medicine in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After medical school, she pursued additional training at the University of Toronto where she completed both a surgical residency and a PhD in the Surgical Scientist Program. Dr Dessureault came to Moffitt Cancer Center in 1999 for a fellowship in Surgical Oncology.

Care Philosophy: Dr Pimiento earned his MD degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He completed a general surgery residency at Saint Mary's Health System/Affiliated Yale University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Surgical Research in Vascular Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and Advanced Fellowship in Surgical Oncology Research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento joined Moffitt from Mercy Health Partners/Mercy Health-St. Mary's and served as the Medical Director, Surgical Oncology at the Lacks Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento's clinical interest is in malignancies of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal and liver cancers.

Care Philosophy: For patients undergoing surgery, whenever possible, Dr Malafa uses minimally invasive approaches. He's experienced at performing robotic whipple, robotic distal pancreatectomy, robotic colectomy and robotic liver resections. In addition to Dr Malafa's time in the clinic and operating room, he continues to work in research and is a Senior Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology and the Chemical Biology and Molecular Medicine Program at Moffitt. As a physician-scientist, he is enthusiastically investigating novel approaches to prevent pancreatic cancer and colorectal cancer.
