During her residency in 2012 she did a research project on how robotics is changing resident education and received the A.W. Diddle Award from the University of Tennessee for her outstanding research. In 2013 she received an award for excellence in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Married to Marquis Hopkins, she has three children including a set of twins. She saw the importance of the doctor-patient relationship during her own pregnancy as well as the variety of seeing patients in the office as well as surgery. Dr. Hopkins also enjoys running, watching college football and spending time with her kids.
