Dr. Kimberly Hopkins, MD

Dr. Hopkins was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease right away. She spoke to me without judgement and her care was both quick and pain free. The office staff was helpful and friendly and were even able to accommodate last minute schedule changes. I will happily continue to use Dr. Hopkins in the future.

New to the area and in need of a Gynecologist, Dr. Hopkins came as a referral from a relative. She is attentive, listening to my concerns. She is thorough in her examination, not just relying on past chart info to diagnose and treat. Dr. Hopkins sought alternative testing and treatment in support of my condition, which I can appreciate. She also has good bedside manner, taking her time to go the extra mile as an attentive provider who likes to educate and support her patients needs in order to provide the best care possible.

Dr. Hopkins is very knowledgeable in her field. I had a surgical procedure done a few weeks ago and she successfully delivered and I am thankful for that. A year ago I had my first appointment with her and I felt like she was kind and welcoming.As time went on I realized for me personally she is not the best fit and that is okay. I really need a Doctor who has amazing bedside manner and is loving-- you can have all of the knowledge in the world but if you don't make me feel like you care about my health it just does not work for me.My last two appointments she started them off with 'do you have any questions' as soon as she walked in the room rather than even asking 'Hey how are you today?' or 'How are you feeling?' It was very confusing because why would I have a question if you have not said anything to me. My last appointment I was nervous to get put to sleep and was crying and she kind of just stood in the corner and said nothing. Some people are not great with emotions but—

My visit felt very rushed.. Dr.Hopkins was very short and wasn’t through at all. I felt as if she truly didn’t care about my health. I was trying to find a doctor to really access my hormone issues/birth control and ovary pain. She completely dismissed the concerns that I had considering my history. Will be going to a new doctor for sure.

I would recommend Dr. Hopkins - she has a laid back demeanor and thoroughly explains her reasoning behind her recommendations. She can appear to be a little reserved, but you can tell that she has concern about you and your health.
