He specializes in complex spinal surgery involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. During his fellowship he gained expertise with innovative surgical techniques with a focus on minimally invasive techniques allowing for shorter recovery times, reduced pain, and a rapid return to an active healthy lifestyle. To further his understanding of the spine and musculoskeletal system, Dr. Gleimer completed a second fellowhip in orthopedic trauma surgery through the AO foundation at the University Hospital in Basel, Switzerland.
