So happy I was referred to Dr. Gleimer
I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Jeffrey Gleimer by Tessandra Gulbranson APN from the pain management department. Dr. Gleimer takes his time and explains everything so that you truly understand the surgery process and gives you enough time to ask questions as needed and lets you know he is there for you and so kind, compassionate and most important honest. I have not had any trouble getting an appointment if I feel I need to see him. I would recommend him to anyone who needed his services.

Dr. Gleimer is great! But....
I love Dr Gleimer and trust his opinions. He has a great bedside manner and instills confidence in his patients. I always come away with lots of hope. However I have to mention the admin staff is not so great and do a disservice to the good dock. First of all...the scheduler can be very brusk and rude. The most upsetting thing to me is that they always have Fox news on in the waiting room. I am not a thin skinned person, but the damage this network has done to our country is immeasureable. Why would you put such a controversial channel on in a public waiting room....most places now put something innocuous on like HGTV. I asked if they could change it and they said no.

Be aware
Dr Gleimer in the beginning took his time explaining my condition and his recommendation’s. I did physical therapy and injections that didn’t help my pain on my right leg. He then recommended surgery on my L4 & L5 spine area. He stated that this will take care of my pain/problem. It’s been two and a half years and I have the pain. Now I have numbness on both toes. He stated that it takes 6 months to a year for the nerve ending to heal. My recommendation is if he recommends surgery, please go to another surgeon. Regional orthopedics, is a mess, they take for ever to return calls or to make appointments.

PAIN CLINIC REFERRAL
I ATTENDED NORTHEAST REGIONAL PAIN CLINC PER DR, GLEIMERS REFERRAL. AFTER SEVERAL VISITS, I WAS TOLD I NEEDED TO BE WEANED OF OF P.E.R.C.O.C.E.T. TO WHAT, I REPLIED. THE RESPONSE WAS FOR ME TO BEGIN USING M.O.R.P.H.I.N.E AND F.E.N.T.Y.N.A.L. MY REPLY WAS ARE YOU KIDDING ! THIS IS A DEATH SENTENCE.AND STORMED OUT IN SHOCK. I WOULD NEVER TAKE THESE MEDS NOR WOULD I LET DR GLEIMER CONTINUE TREATMENT. MY C3-C4 WERE SO STENOSED THAT I COULD HAVE LOST NEUROLOGIC CONDUCTIVITY TO MY HEART AND DIAPHRAM RESULTING IN DEATH! DR GLEIMER SHOULD HAVE SCHEDULED ME FOR A STAT DECOMPRSSION, HOWEVER HIS EXPERTESE WAS IN STEROIDAL INJECTIONS FOR HIS OWN FINANCIAL GAIN. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SEEK CARE FROM A PHYSICIAN WHO IS CAPAPABLE OF PROPERLY ASSESING THE SEVERITY OF YOUR CONDITION ANT NOT A DO WHO PROVIDES CARE FOR HIS OWN FINANCIAL GAIN.

Dr Jeff Gleimer is one of the best diagnosticians and orthopedic surgeons you will find in the Delaware Valley area . His extensive background in spinal cord injuries coupled with a full compliment of medical professionals on board at Regional Orthopedics are second to none in the area for diagnostics and the treatment of spinal cord injuries. I’ve had more than my share of surgeries and he’s enshrined in my personal Hall of Fame (tattooed on my arm) as the best orthopedic surgeon. I kid you not !

Place was a circus. Waited over 1 hour to be shown to a room. Sat in the room and watched while staff went to the lunch room to get their lunch. Finally I went to the front desk to remind them we were there. All total we were there over 3 hours with most of that just waiting. The physician who finally saw us informed us he was a Spinal Disorders doctor and really had no knowledge of our situation, which was a partial amputation of a finger. He bent over from 4 feet away to tell us it looked like a "sh*t show". We were then handed off to a physician assistant to show us how to bandage the finger, etc. While the assistant appeared competent, there was an over use of unnecessary foul language while attempting to wrap the finger. Needless to say we never went back and found other doctors. THAT PLACE IS A CIRCUS!

Dr. Gleimer is one of the nicest doctors I've seen in many years. Having previously had a bad experience with a spinal surgery 15 years ago, Dr. Gleimer was able to put me at ease, develop a post-op pain management plan and follow through with every promise. In the end I had an excellent outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Gleimer and his entire support staff.

Dr. Gleimer performed an ACDF surgery on disc c-3 through c-7. It's been 16 months since my surgery and I feel like a new person. It relieved me of chronic neck spasms and shoulder pain. I regained quality of my life back. I can now stand, sit or walk for long periods of time without pain. On a personal note, Dr. Gleimer is very thorough in explaining your conditions step by step. He has a phenomenal way of comforting his patients when your prognosis seems bleak. I strongly recommend him

Dr. Gleimer has a wonderful bedside manner and takes a lot of time with his patients. I had to wait hours in his office each time I had an appointment. I had 2 epidural injects. He recommended that I get neck surgery because he stated that I was a risk for paralysis if I had another whiplash, so I got a 2nd opinion with a renowned neurosurgeon who stated that I was not at risk for paralysis and did no need surgery. If Dr. Gleimer recommends surgery, I highly recommend you get another opinio

Dr Gleimer was professional and clearly explained my medical issue as well as spoke to me in terms I could understand. When I went in for my procedure he was both calming as well as again explained what was going to happen in easy to understand terms. If you are looking for a doctor who doesn't talk down to you and clearly knows how to relate to patients go this way.
