Biography: Benjamin P. Debelak, DO, received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI, and he received his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency from Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. Following residency, he came to The Hughston Foundation for a one-year orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship. After receiving his sports medicine training he returned to Michigan to work as a team physician and surgeon. Most recently, he worked in Waynesville, NC, as director of sports medicine for the Haywood County School District. Dr. Debelak is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Debelak has a passion for sports medicine and the health of athletes. He has treated athletes and worked with the sports medicine teams of Central Michigan University, Michigan State, Valdosta State, and Columbus State University. He also treated professional hockey players and provided team coverage for high school athletes in Georgia, Michigan, and North Carolina. Dr. Debelak will work in our Tennessee clinics and devote his practice to sports injuries and the care of athletes.

Biography: Dr. David DeBoer is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery. He co-founded Southern Joint Replacement Institute in 1999 along with Michael Christie, MD. Their goal was to create a practice that combined quality patient care with state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge research. Dr. DeBoer's medical education started and finished at Vanderbilt University, where he earned a medical doctorate and a master's degree in biomedical engineering. After finishing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Dr. DeBoer also completed a fellowship under Dr. Michael Christie at Vanderbilt. Dr. DeBoer is the Joint Replacement Research Program Director for Sarah Cannon Research Institute. His research focuses on improving the outcome of joint replacement surgery and the biomechanics of the hip and knee joints. He is currently the chairman of the Clinical Best Practice Committee on Joint Replacement Surgery for the 180 hospitals in the HCA Healthcare network. Biography: Dr. Tiffany Feltman was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. She then went on to Vanderbilt University for her Biomedical Engineering degree. After college she moved to Atlanta for medical school. She then completed her Orthopedic Surgery residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. After successfully completing residency she went on to complete her fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. She is more than thrilled to come back to Nashville to join Hughston Clinic Orthopaedics and specialize in total hips and total knees. She enjoys changing her patients daily life and getting them back to where they can walk and enjoy daily activities without the pain from arthritis. She is an active member of the American Hip and Knee Society as well as American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. In her spare time she enjoys football, being outside and around the water, and spending time with her husband, daughter and their three dogs. She looks forward to reaching out to the Nashville community.
