Dr. Michael Bernui, DO

After visiting at least 10 doctors that did tons of test but had no idea what was wrong with me. We were desperate for help and I meet a nurse that told me about how after 15 doctors she found Dr. Bernui and he was able to help her. At my first appointment Dr. Bernui knew my symptoms and had a good idea of what was wrong. He ordered tests to confirm and he was correct. He is a brilliant Doctor, very kind, great listener to all my concerns. He thought I had Lyme with another infection. He was correct. I had two previous Lyme test that were negative. Dr. Bernui uses labs that are more sensitive and my labs test came back positive for Lyme. After 2 years of being very sick I finally started improving. Dr. Bernui staff is Amazing also. They all make you feel like they truly care about you! We drive 13 hours to see Dr. Bernui , he is worth it. I will be forever grateful to God for Dr. Bernui! He truly finds the root causes and is the best gifted doctor by far we have ever been to!

The only doctor I know who thinks about his patients. As a doctor myself, he attends more to his patience than anyone else I’ve ever seen.

In March I was in the hospital 3 times in a week both at Summit and Vanderbilt with almost 90 hours of eegs and all kinds of tests ran to get to the bottom of uncontrollable seizures. Onmy last stay, I was diagnosed with psychosomatic seizures, meaning it was all in my head, and perhaps from supressed issues. Knowing this was not true, and feeling hopeless, 15 days later I met with the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. Dr. Bernui listened intently and took notes continually, and asked a considerable amount of questions to get to the bottom of my issues. He never promised immediate fix,but did have a game plan, suspecting at a minimum Lyme Disease. After a 28 day detox accompanied by extensive lab and urine and nutrition tests, Lyme still being treated along with extreme lead contamination, and further follow up of mold toxicity. Although I have met insurance deductible through the traditional medical community, they no longer have my vote for the care of my whole body.

Unprofessional and rude. Also prescribed potentially deadly combo of meds with major interactions and realized it a week later. This guy shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine.

Dr. Bernui addresses all of our questions. He knows a lot and always knows what we are talking about when we bring in our Internet research. He is patient and always takes the time needed to help us out. Wish we could take him home with us. He also prays with us at the end of each visit.

Dr. Bernui was my primary physician for years. he got tired of treating the symptoms and wanted to get to the root problems. I've never felt better. He has a servants heart and a gentle soul. He prays with every patient afterwards.

I was sick for 14 years, and no one could figure out what was wrong. One doctor told me my problem was the shampoo I was using and to switch to baby shampoo. Uhmmm, hmmm. SMH. A chiropractor told me there was nothing wrong with me, it was all in my head. Sure. Dr. Bernui knew at my first visit with him, and bloodwork confirmed that I had Lyme disease, Bartonella, and heavy metal toxicity, specifically mercury from dental fillings. He has gotten me well, and I am so very thankful for him!

The main ingredients in my treatment are : he follows Dr Bredesen's protocol, and he knows the power of prayer after each visit and calls on the Great Physician's healing touch. Everything about Dr. Bernui is good, except he is always running behind!
