Biography: Chris Williamson, MD, specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery – including ``wide awake`` hand surgery – treating traumatic and sports-related injuries. He has a focus on nerve and tendon surgery, treating patients for fracture care, carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel, trigger fingers, tennis and golfers elbow, as well as other forms of tendinitis. Prior to joining Einstein, Dr. Williamson earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia, followed by an Upper Extremity Fellowship at the Rothman Institute. He has lectured regionally and nationally, authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association for Hand Surgery and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society.
