Biography: Allison R. Cavazos, MD, is a dedicated gynecologist in San Antonio, Texas. She joined the Oak Hills Women's Center, P.A. family in 2017 after completing her Obstetrics-Gynecology program at Parkland Hospital, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Always a stellar student, Dr. Cavazos initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, where she received highest honors for Academic Achievement. After receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2013, she went on to complete a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cavazos quickly became a well-regarded resident at Parkland Hospital, a prestigious OB/GYN training program in the United States, before winning the residency award for Excellence in Pediatric Gynecology. Since joining the tight-knit family practice, she has been a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dedicated to her patients, Dr. Cavazos is available to see all age groups and cater to those with gynecological needs.

Biography: Michael J. Troy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Troy received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School and completed his residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas. He received an award for Senior Finishing Resident for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures. Dr. Troy is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Troy is married and has four children.

Biography: Orlando J. Suris is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Suris earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and served as Chief Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Medical Center Hospital. He has a special interest in urogynecology, the discipline dedicated to helping women overcome loss of bladder control.Dr. Suris is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Bexar County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Suris is married and has three children.

Biography: Dr. Kathryn Holloway was raised in San Antonio and is delighted to be taking care of women in her hometown. She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Neuroscience at Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts, then returned to Texas for her medical training. Dr. Holloway received her M.D. with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.Dr. Holloway completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. During her training, she developed an interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and completed research on the evaluation and teaching of OB/GYN residents' robotic surgical skills. Her research received an Honorable Mention award by the American Medical Association. During residency, she was also honored with the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.Dr. Holloway chose a career in general Obstetrics and Gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages. She is passionate about helping women live healthy lifestyles during and between pregnancies. As the daughter of a family of physicians, Dr. Holloway understands the commitment to the physician-patient relationship. She lives with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children. They enjoy traveling, spending time with family and exploring new restaurants.Dr. Holloway is a certified aesthetic physician and recently began offering FDA-approved Botox, Juvaderm and Kybella in-house.

Care Philosophy: Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgical (MIGS) options are changing the way women should expect to experience surgery. Certainly, no one looks forward to having surgery, but if you need a procedure, I'm committed to striving for painless, bloodless surgery, with minimal scarring, fast healing, and the least disruption to your life possible. I have been a board certified, practicing Ob/Gyn for almost 20 years. Since being introduced to robotic (daVinci) surgery in 2010, I have performed over 350 daVinci procedures. I was one of the first several dozen gyn surgeons in the US to complete the Master Level (highest level) of daVinci surgical training. I'm especially interested in benign complex gyn problems such as pelvic pain, endometriosis, large fibroids, hysterectomy, pelvic prolapse, and uterine bleeding problems. 99% of the surgeries I have performed in the past 4 years have been successfully completed through small incisions, with no major complications. In order to be able to offer minimally invasive surgical options to more women, I retired from delivering babies in April of 2014 and found the San Antonio area's first dedicated MIGS practice, Virtuosa Gyn.
