I did not leave with at least 1 clear diagnosis or a clear plan. I received a prescription for the wrong diagnosis. I was prescribed a medication for a condition in which the medical assistant told me I wasn't even tested for. It could be the staff that is giving me incorrect information, but either way, nothing was clear. When I called to inquire about my visit, I was told that no MD notes were put in my file and this was 5 days post visit. I had a horrible experience with this MD.

The staff is great always so nice and attentive. During covid they have been great in cleaning keeping everyone’s distance. Dr.vela I feel like is always listening to my concerns and gives great recommendations

I visited Dr.Vela for my first prenatal appointment. The staff from the moment I checked in up to the checkout process were so nice and welcoming. Dr.Vela was very patient with me and addressed all my concerns to assure me and my husband. Wait times were reasonable, waiting and exam rooms were clean.

Dr Vela is the best! Been a patient of hers for about 4 years now and I’ve always been provided with excellent patient care since day 1. She has great bedside manners, very knowledgeable, the list goes on and on. I highly recommend her. Brandy is her nurse and is also friendly and efficient.

Dr. Vela made what should have been a wonderful experience, in a word, terrible. She acted annoyed by reasonable questions that a first time mom would have. Long story short, despite Dr. Vela essentially telling my wife to "toughen up", she was suffering from collestasis. We could have lost our son, had we not went to another dr that was able to put their attitude aside to you know, actually treat a patient. Don't risk you or your loved one's health. Seek help elsewhere.

I moved to this location when doctor almendarez started working at the medical center location. Not only has he been my trusted doctor for 15 years, he’s been my mothers &my sister as well. It’s a drive over there but he made it worth it. Last week I recieved a shocking call that he took a leave of absence and the receptionist only gave me 3 names of another doctor RUDELY. I arrive at 1040 am for an appointment at 11, and had to go up there almost 30 minutes lafter 11. Please go somewhere else
