Care Philosophy: I believe that a physician should be an advocate for her patient. I empower my patients with knowledge and help them find the right treatment specialized for them. The nature of my practice means that I form a unique relationship with each of my patients, treating each person as an individual with careful attention paid to that person's specific needs. I was born and raised in Leawood, Kansas, and am excited to have returned to the area to care for women in the Kansas City metro.

Care Philosophy: Dealing with complex benign gynecology calls for the ability to instill hope in patients when they need it the most. Dr. Swan recognizes the immense toll these disease (endometriosis, fibroids and pelvic adhesive disease) can have on a patient and their family. She believes in helping to build a team of experts around patients and providing medical and surgical management as appropriate for each situation.

Care Philosophy: I thoroughly enjoy what I do and feel so lucky to have a job that I love! I work hard to treat every patient as an individual. I want to be a part of the medical decision making and management that each woman undergoes throughout their lives regarding obstetrics and gynecology care. It is exciting and fulfilling to me to help women build their families, but also to be there to give medical advice and guidance to women outside of obstetric health.
