Biography: I enjoy providing the highest quality and empathic care to women from all backgrounds and cultures. I was raised in Mexico City and have been in the US since 2009. My path has tremendously helped me to appreciate diversity and in turn provide sensitive and personal healthcare to women. I feel listening is the key to empathize with my patients. I believe in honesty, transparent communication and compassion. I had two intensive years as a research fellow downtown Detroit n maternal fetal medicine where I specialized in ultrasonography in high risk pregnancy. I also trained with a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, areas I feel passionate about. I love to enjoy time with my family. I am a big fan of animals and I recently adopted a mix Labrador named Benito. Music is my alternate world. I love to sing and play guitar. Bike rides, exploring Minneapolis with my husband and Benito, spending time with my family are some of my favorite activities.

Biography: As a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), I practice a patient-centered, holistic, hands-on approach to diagnosing and treating illness and injury. I was taught to think of the person as a unity of mind, body and spirit. Everything is interconnected, so I'm not just caring for a person physically, but I understand they have emotional needs too. Patient and family education is an important piece in the patient-physician relationship. I am trained in OB-GYN and I provide health care for women in all stages of their life including preventive exams, contraception, pregnancy and delivery care, infertility, menstrual issues, minimally-invasive surgeries, and menopausal therapies. In 2014 I spent four weeks in Africa for a medical mission trip, and I hope to go on more medical mission trips in the future.

Biography: Working in the specialty of OB-GYN allows me to meld my passions of surgery and primary care to better the overall health and wellness of women of all ages, from adolescence to post-menopause. I strive to create a trusting and comfortable environment to build a lifelong partnership with my patients so I can be there to guide and support them, physically and emotionally, as they navigate their day-to-day lives. Every woman is unique and deserving of quality, compassionate care. Being a native to Minnesota, I take every opportunity available to head up north to experience the great outdoors from fishing to hiking (with my dog Remy Jo), golfing and four-wheeling. I enjoy combining my love of travel and medicine by participating in medical mission trips abroad.

Biography: I practice general obstetrics and gynecology. I see patients ranging from adolescence to old age and help patients with everything, including routine well-woman visits, STI exposure, pelvic pain and vulvar diseases. During appointments, I try to educate patients on their own health and help them achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their medical condition.
