Biography: Dr. Michael Valladares is originally from South Florida where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences at Florida International University. He then went on to Nova Southeastern University where he completed graduate school obtaining a Masters in Biomedical Science degree. Upon completing graduate school he proceeded to complete Medical School at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Valladares went on to complete his training in Internal Medicine and ultimately completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology where he was elected to be Chief Gastroenterology Fellow his senior year. Dr. Valladares is a South Florida native who is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Dr. Valladares has special interests in: Acid Reflux, Anemia, Celiac Disease, Cirrhosis and Liver Disease, Colorectal Cancer and Prevention, Colitis, Constipation, Diarrhea, Dysphagia, Diverticulitis, GERD, Hepatitis, H.
