I had scheduled an appt and the office called to reschedule. The call dropped and never received a call back. I finally was able to get a hold of the office (trying for 2 days) and the scheduling girl was really unprofessional and rude. Typical Miami attitude and she just hung up when I said I wasn’t told my appt was canceled. If that the service that is allowed there I don’t want nothing to do with this business.

After waiting almost 5 weeks for an appointment (the office does not have a waiting/cancellation list} I went to Dr. Rosen on August 9, 2023 with a known huge hiatal hernial. Subsequently he did an endoscopy, confrimed the hernia and told me take two Pecid AC 20 mg tablets a day instead of one. I asked him then if repair of the hernia was possible and he said yes and that the stomach could go up into the chest but he did suggest any action in that direction. On Monday, October 2, 2023, in excruciatng stomach pain I called Dr. Rosen's Office almost all day. They said that they sent him several urgent messages to call me; he never did. Finally, at about 4 PM on October 4, 2023, on the advice of a doctor friend, I went to the ER at So Miami Hosp. I stayed nine days to correct a the Gastric volvulus (blessed with probably the top expert in the nation) and repair the hernia robotically . Dr. Rosen had not seen or looked for the Gastric volvulus or ordered tests which might have revealed it. It was life threatening since I could not digest food or water. Dr. Rosen ignored my urgent requests for a call while I was in pain and did not sufficiently examine me. . Fortunately, So Miami Hospital is fantastic with great protocols, staff and doctors. I'm here; Dr. Rosen is gone. And so is his assistant who does not return calls.

Referred to Dr. Rosen by my Primary for colonoscopy. In a preliminary visit he explained entire procedure and necessary preparation and clearly answered all of my questions and concerns. Very professional and friendly. Very busy practice but took the time to chat and discuss the procedure.

Acted like I was a time waster and rushed me with an indifferent attitude. Did not exam me. Poor bedside manner. Then told me he could't do anything for what I considered a mild emergency for month. I could not wait a month in misery. Had no recommendations for what I should do for that month. I found some home cures.

I came in for a Sigmoidoscopy, but had concerns about how endoscopes are sterilized. Instead of answering my questions properly and easing my concerns, he became agitated, gave me a choice of having the procedure done then or discharging me from his care. Of course, I decided to leave. Then he sent me a certified letter of discharge to my house and blocked me from making any appointments with any other Dr. in the same group. Moral of the story: Don't question Dr. Rosen (or just stay away!)
