She then went on to complete medical school at Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, Texas and her surgical residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.Dr. Kastner practiced in rural Arkansas in the Mississippi delta region, a very underserved region, for five years prior to returning to Austin.
