She joined the Markey Cancer Center after completion of her BMT fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. During her time in Kentucky, she served as the Interim Medical Director of the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy program for two years. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality medical care with compassion and understanding. Dr. Ramlal research interests include methods to mitigate complications of allogeneic transplantation and improve clinical outcomes.

Biography: Dr. Saraswathi Cappelle is an Assistant Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Cappelle received her DO degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, Florida. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency, followed by a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Cappelle joins us from Temple University Hospital where she was appointed as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Endoscopy Director. Dr. Cappelle's clinical and research interests include pancreatic cystic neoplasms, pancreaticobiliary disease, gastrointestinal malignancies, therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound and colonic gastrointestinal endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR).

Biography: Ann Holloway, DO, FACS, is a board-certified General Surgeon from Phoenix, AZ with 9 years of experience. Dr. Holloway enjoys the challenges each patient presents and works in a collaborative fashion to craft a customized treatment plan. She always treats her patients and colleagues the way she would like to be treated with kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. Dr. Holloway is proficient in a wide variety of techniques including endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic and open surgeries, using them to perform cholecystectomies, appendectomies, hernia repairs, breast surgery, melanoma excisions, port placement, soft tissue mass excisions, and more. She is expertly adept at diagnosing and treating surgical emergencies ranging from abscesses to incarcerated hernia to perforated viscous and more. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, a Navy General Surgeon, and their 3-year-old son. They enjoy traveling, reading and trying new restaurants. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Association for Surgical Education, and Association of Women Surgeons. Dr Saeed completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship, and he served as Chief Fellow at the University of Kentucky. Prior to Moffitt,Dr Saeedpracticed at the University of Kentucky, where he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Blood and Marrow Transplantation, College of Medicine.Dr Saeed specializes in treating blood cancers.
