Care Philosophy: Dr Nishihori is a senior member in the Blood & Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy (BMT CI) Department at Moffitt Cancer Center and is a professor in the Department of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida. Dr Nishihori's clinical interests include autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) as well as cellular immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of various hematologic malignancies including but not limited to multiple myeloma, plasma cell dyscrasias, amyloidosis, malignant lymphomas, acute and chronic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome, myelofibrosis and myeloproliferative disorders. He also performs autologous HCT for testicular cancer/germ cell tumor.

Care Philosophy: Dr Celeste Bello isa double board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist, and a senior member in the Malignant Hematology program at Moffitt Cancer Center. She joined the faculty at Moffitt Cancer Center in 2008 after completing her fellowship at the University of South Florida. Dr Bello has developed special expertise in managing patients with Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, a special category within the broader group of hematologic (blood) malignancies. Examples of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas include follicular lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, small lymphocytic lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, and mantle cell lymphoma.

Care Philosophy: Dr Creelan earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in the Department of Internal Medicine. Dr Creelan then completed a Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the University of South Florida at Moffitt Cancer Center anda Master's Degree in Clinical and Translational Research through the National Institute of Health K30-sponsored SPOR program. Dr Creelan will focus on translational and clinical research, specifically the development of new immune therapies, for the treatment of lung cancers. His research efforts aim to more effectively treat these cancers based on new insights into the biology of the disease.

Biography: Dr. Satish Mahara is a Clinical Assistant Member in the Department of Satellite and Community Oncology. Dr. Maharaj received his MD degree from the University of the West Indies. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at University of Florida Health, Jacksonville. He then completed a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at the University of Louisville, Brown Cancer Center, Kentucky. Dr. Maharaj joins us from Texas Tech University, Paul L Foster School of Medicine, where he was an Assistant Professor and attending physician in Hematology and Oncology at the University Medical Center, El Paso. Dr. Maharaj's clinical focus is on the treatment of gastrointestinal and head and neck cancers, including oral cavity, oropharyngeal, esophageal, gastric, colorectal, liver, pancreatic, and anal cancers. His research focuses on investigating the use of various biomarkers to better classify, treat and monitor cancer and the potential adverse effects of therapy.
