Biography: My overall approach to caring for patients is to use evidence-based guidelines while respecting patient autonomy. My practice mostly consists of normal and high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic conditions in women and use of minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotics. I enjoy the fact that when you provide care for a mother, you are also providing care for her whole family as well. I enjoy helping women feel better so that they can live really full lives. I try to really listen to what my patients are saying, and provide an A-to-Z list of treatment options that then we can mutually agree upon. I believe you need to care for the whole self to help fix specific issues.

Biography: I enjoy providing the highest quality and empathic care to women from all backgrounds and cultures. I was raised in Mexico City and have been in the US since 2009. My path has tremendously helped me to appreciate diversity and in turn provide sensitive and personal healthcare to women. I feel listening is the key to empathize with my patients. I believe in honesty, transparent communication and compassion. I had two intensive years as a research fellow downtown Detroit n maternal fetal medicine where I specialized in ultrasonography in high risk pregnancy. I also trained with a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, areas I feel passionate about. I love to enjoy time with my family. I am a big fan of animals and I recently adopted a mix Labrador named Benito. Music is my alternate world. I love to sing and play guitar. Bike rides, exploring Minneapolis with my husband and Benito, spending time with my family are some of my favorite activities.
