Biography: I am a partner in the Fondren Orthopaedic Group. I am a board certified orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic foot and ankle care in the Houston area for the past 15 years. My orthopedic practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. In preparation for this I have completed a 5 year orthopedic residency and additional year in foot and ankle fellowship training. That is why I explain every step of the diagnostic process. Next, I want my patients to understand their condition: how it developed and how various treatment approaches can improve or repair the problem. With each treatment options, I present a realistic outlook on the results we can achieve. I'll also be frank about any risks that might be involved. If a non-surgical option is available, I'll explain that avenue in depth. Biography: Tomiko Fukuda, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon specializing and foot and ankle surgery. Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Fukuda graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She worked in Wisconsin for International Paper as a Chemical Engineer for 3 years before changing her path to medicine. She received her Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Fukuda went on to complete her Surgical Internship and her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed a Fellowship Training Program in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic, and Reconstructive Research in Houston, Texas.Dr. Fukuda has many honors and awards to her credit, including the Walter P. Blount Award for Orthopedics, given by the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She received the Janet M. Glascow Memorial Citizen for Scholastic Achievement Award by the American Medical Women's Association, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor's Society. Biography: Adam Neustein, M.D., is a board certified Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon with Lone Star Orthopaedic Institute in Kingwood, TX. Dr. Neustein received his undergraduate from University of Texas - Austin. Dr. Neustein then went on to gain his Doctorate of Medicine as well as his Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery preceptorship with University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Neustein's Orthopaedic Surgery residency was completed at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston followed by an Orthopaedic Trauma fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.Dr. Neustein is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a professional member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and the AOTrauma. Dr. Neustin has been a part of various clinical research, lecture, presentations, and publications in his career.
