With outstanding medical credentials and achievements, Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Anthony Melillo is a singularly talented and caring physician genuinely concerned about, and fully committed to, his patients. As one of his patients, I have found him to be a careful listener who asks pertinent questions and a proactive doctor whose treatments work. Dr. Melillo is a great credit to his profession and an extraordinary asset to the Houston Community. His staff is likewise very professional, very caring, and always helpful and kind.

Dr. Melillo can be brash but he is from NJ. He gets straight to the pointe. I have had 3 total knee replacements. 1 after a fall broke of implant. Insurance companies make doctors send patients to physical therapy etc. Be patient.

I saw Dr. Melillo 7 years ago for a rotator cuff complaint. To avoid surgery, he initially tried a steroid injection and referred me to a chiropractor. My insurance didn't go for it, so he ordered an MRI, found the cuff was torn, and I got to pick my date. Dr. Melillo's staff took care of everything, he was great to work with through the months of recovery. I went back 4 years ago for the other arm and Dr. Melillo was using newer technology. I have full recovery, chinups, overhead lifts...

Very disappointed in results of Achilles surgery for repair of full rupture. Staph infection four weeks out of surgery. Expressed alarm from slow-healing surgical wound throughout those four weeks. Surgeon response each week was fairly dismissive. Two hospitalizations from staph infection. Then additional FHL tendon transfer surgery with a different surgeon. Original surgery June 2016. Just now recovering at a decent level. A nightmare of an experience.

Doctor Melillo has worked on both my knees. Amazing is the way I describe the results of his work. It was like a light switch was flipped as to the pain I was experiencing. His staff are professional and caring. He was recommended by a friend and I was and am happy I found him.
