Biography: Dr. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University and completed medical school at Midwestern University in Chicago and Phoenix. Having an accomplished family physician as a father, Dr. Jackson knew from an early age that he desired to be a physician. Further direction was provided during his undergraduate years when he was able to spend extensive time with a distinguished hand surgeon in San Diego, California and performed research on the surgery for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. From that point on, Dr. Jackson became dedicated to learning the skills necessary to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to the hand and upper extremities in order to restore function and enhance individual lives. During his residency in orthopedic surgery at Ohio University, he served as chief resident in his final year and then undertook his surgical fellowship training at Tufts University-New England Medical Center in the Combined Hand/Upper Extremity. Before moving to Houston, Dr. Jackson practiced in Austin and California in hand/upper extremity and general orthopedic surgery. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Jackson is interested in nearly every form of art, sports, culture, outdoor activity and environmental pursuit, but tends to spend most of his time with his wife and two young daughters, building computers, listening to music and exercising at the gym while thinking about planning his next marathon.

Care Philosophy: His professional interests include treatment of all injuries involving the hip and knee. While Dr. Tanous does specialize in surgical treatment of hip and knee problems, he includes a comprehensive patient conservative care model with surgery reserved for those whose symptoms don't resolve with less invasive methods

Care Philosophy: A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Pacquette received his medical degree at the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Port of Spain General Hospital, Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Pacquette has worked in private practice and has acted as a preceptor at Michigan State University Medical School in Midland, Michigan. Dr. Pacquette is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
