Biography: Yasmin Akhtar, M.D. is a licensed Primary Care Physician who is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. After completing her residency in 2009 from the prestigious New York University Langone Hospital/NYU Lutheran, she began practicing in Okeechobee. During her tenure at NYU Langone, she was awarded Best Project In Family Medicine for her research on Women's Health. Recently she received an honor from Humana Insurance for her 5 Star Performance & Patient Care.
