He has worked as an assistant team physician to several professional teams in Houston: the Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamo, as well as for Rice University and HISD.In addition to his work with professional athletes, Dr. Lin has knowledge and expertise with orthopaedic injuries sustained by military personnel. During his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, he was awarded commendation for research he conducted on those injuries sustained during Operation Enduring Freedom, which was published and presented at national meetings. Following residency, Dr. Lin served as an orthopaedic surgeon and Chief, Department of Surgery at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, which served the active duty, dependent and retiree population in and around Fort Polk, Louisiana (home of the Joint Readiness Training Center). He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin prior to earning his Doctorate of Medicine at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School.
