Dr Baumgartner
I highly recommend not coming here very unprofessional they cancel appointments. That was already scheduled. Dealing with the office manager Julie is like a monster talks to you like a kid.

My mother went in for knee injections and she came back with painful blisters from the BURN marks the doctor and his assistant left on her LEG. She told both the assistant and doctor that they were burning her and they ignored her when she told them it was burning and hurting her. When we tried to get in contact with his office to try and report him, the person who answered said they couldn’t understand my mother and only offered an apology. Will be reporting to the Texas Medical Board.

Patients beware. He will abandon you and not sufficiently meet your pain level needs. He will also give you spinal injections and never give out any after care instructions and if you ask anything about the relief after the procedure he will tell you “don’t worry, we’ll have great results”.

Dr. Baumgartner was the third pain management doctor I tried for my chronic back pain. He patiently kept trying different things to help me and has now relieved most of my pain after some ablations and now a pain pump. It is a miracle after 20 years of crippling back pain to being able to walk without a cane or walker and to have manageable pain levels. I highly recommend him because he does not give up and just prescribe meds like other doctors I have had. He's the best.

Dr. Baumgartner listened to my chronic pain descriptions. I had never had this medical problem before and didn't know what to expect. We discussed a treatment plan and I'm feeling so much better. As a plus, he is caring and understanding. I recommend him highly!

Dr Baumgartner has been our pain doctor for years. In my opinion, he is the most skilled doctor in any specialty that I know. I think it is important that he is a board certified anesthesiologists with a fellowship in pain management (this according to the credentials on his office wall). In addition, he is extremely personable and explains everything so I can understand what he is going to do. Lastly, the procedures he performs completely remove the pain and I have no need for pain medication n

I had a great experience with Dr. Baumgartner. He seemed genuinely interested in my description of my symptoms and didn't just make quick assumptions like my previous doctor. The treatment I received was very effective. I'll definitely stick with him and recommend him highly. From other reviews, it sounds like the last medical group he was at had some scheduling and billing issues. He's with Texas Interventional Pain Specialists now and I've experienced no problems in my several appointments.

My wife has been a patient of Dr. Baumgartner for 4 years and speaking from a spouse's perspective, I cannot begin to say enough positive things about Dr. Baumgartner. He is very very caring and he puts my wife's well being first. He excels at explaining what is going on with her condition and the treatment moving forward. I have been extremely happy with her care and treatment the entire time she has been with Dr. Baumgartner.

I've needed to follow a course of pain management since a cervical fusion in 1999 and back issues. Due to the retirement of my previous physician in 2017, I needed to locate a new physician, which wasn't easy. I discovered Dr. Baumgartner. I've found him to be professional, thorough, courteous, and not afraid to laugh. He's started his own practice and I have to say that he and his staff have improved in all facets of their profession! You would be foolish to see anyone else for your needs.
