Biography: Dr. Igor Zilberman, MD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Division of Hospitalist and Critical Care Neurology. After medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Zilberman completed neurology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at SUNY Stony Brook Medical Center. Dr. Zilberman remained at SUNY Stony Brook as an attending, later transferring to Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Zilberman is board certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine, and his clinical interests include stroke, encephalopathy, and emergency neurology. Biography: Steven Landau, MD is a gastroenterologist / internist based in White Plains with an interest in inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Landau completed medical school at New York University in 1981 and awarded membership to the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1984 at the Bronx Municipal Hospital campus of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Landau opened a practice in internal medicine and gastroenterology in White Plains, New York in 1986 and maintained an academic affiliation as a clinical assistant professor first at Albert Einstein Medical School where he taught endoscopy and taught medical students at New York Medical College. Dr. Landau joined Cardiology Consultants of Westchester as their gastroenterologist in 2009 and joined ColumbiaDoctors in the 2011.

Biography: Carl L. Herndon, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. He is skilled in the operative and nonoperative treatment of hip and knee injuries, including minimally invasive total joint arthroplasty (including anterior approach hip replacement), advanced techniques like robotically assisted total knee replacement, and unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement, as well as the latest approaches to managing periprosthetic joint infection and treatment of periprosthetic fracture. He also provides advanced care for hip, knee, and femur fractures and nonsurgical management for pain and arthritis. After receiving a B.A. in communications from Northwestern University, Dr. Herndon completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine, in Gainesville, FL. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he also served as administrative chief resident. He completed his fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at OrthoCarolina, one of the nation's leading independent orthopedic practices. Throughout his training, Dr. Herndon has been active in academic research and has published numerous articles in major academic journals, including the Journal of Arthroplasty, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, and Arthroplasty Today. His research interests include health policy and access to care, periprosthetic infection and fracture repair, and patient optimization. Dr. Herndon has presented papers and presentations at national meetings and has received multiple awards for research. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Herndon is passionate about his role as an educator and mentor for residents and fellows at Columbia and continues to be actively involved in global outreach and service, including volunteer work in Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Honduras through organizations like Global Health Outreach and Operation Walk.
