Biography: Dr. Payton Olson earned her medical degree from Louisiana State Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2017. She went on to complete her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ochsner Clinical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2021. While in training, Dr. Olson received many awards including Excellence in Obstetrics Emergencies and Surgical Skills in Gynecology Oncology. She has been on staff with Ochsner in the Covington/Mandeville area since 2021. Dr. Olson enjoys seeing all obstetrical and gynecological patients, from adolescents to older women. Her interests include normal and high-risk obstetrics, contraception, treatment of abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain, and robotic/minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
