Biography: Dr. Puri received her MD degree from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, India. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. Dr. Puri joins us from the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, where she was appointed Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology. During her time at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, she served as the Physician Leader for the Thoracic Clinical Trial Research Group; in that role, she managed the ongoing and future clinical trial portfolio. We are excited for her to partner with Dr. Andreas Saltos in the role of our Clinical Research Medical Director to drive the clinical research vision and manage our trial portfolio. Dr. Puri's clinical interests involve treating patients with thoracic malignancies including non-small cell and small cell lung cancer. Her research interests include development of clinical trials for patients with thoracic malignancies with emphasis on immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other novel therapeutics.

Biography: Dr. Faseeh Khaja, MD is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He joins Pinellas Hematology Oncology after serving as a medical oncologist/hematologist at the University of Florida Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health. Dr. Khaja received his bachelor's degree from Houston Baptist University, where he double majored in biology and chemistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with Honors and completed his internal medicine residency at Orlando Health.Dr. Khaja then went on to complete his medical oncology and hematology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center - Orlando, where he was part of several research projects and published as a lead author. Dr. Khaja has served as associate clinical professor for both Florida State College of Medicine and University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He holds membership in both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He enjoys caring for his patients and spends his free time working out and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Urdu.

Biography: Dr. Robert B. Killeen, M.D. obtained his medical doctor degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in Hematology Oncology at UPMC Montefiore Hospital and Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. In addition he specializes in in Hospice and Palliative Care.He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Killeen has over 25 years experience as a physician and his goal is to provide patients with courteous quality care. Most insurances are accepted and include the following: Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, CIGNA, Coventry Health Care, Multi Plan, United HealthCare, Well Care, Medicare etc.
