Care Philosophy: Dr. Medije Mashkulli is a Board Certified Pediatrician at Staten Island University Hospital. Dr. Mashkulli joined the pediatric faculty practice in 2020. She completed her residency at our institution in 2019. Dr. Mashkulli specializes in the care of newborns, NICU graduates, well children and adolescents, and children with chronic illnesses at the ambulatory pediatric center. Her passions include counseling first time moms and dads on the care of their newborn as well as guiding families with children who have recently emigrated to the United States. She enjoys providing mentorship to pediatric residents as well as contributing to the education of rotating medical students. She is committed to teaching future doctors general pediatrics and tailoring health plans for our patients across different cultural backgrounds. Dr. Mashkulli is proud to serve the surrounding communities of our hospital as she is a long time resident of Staten Island and a former volunteer at SIUH.

Biography: Dr. Adler is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Adler is the founding member of New York Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been in private practice since 1993. Dr. Adler earned his undergraduate degree and graduated magna cum laude from New York University and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He received his medical degree from New York University Medical School, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated as valedictorian of his class. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
