Wonderful doctor, front desk staff rude and nasty. Too long a wait for appointment.

Haven’t visited in over a year and a half because the office doesn’t answer their phones. At first I thought it was a great fit for me but after a year of trying to contact you and a whole month of calling leaving messages whatever. I’m done being patient. It’s absolutely ridiculous that you’re messaging system says we’re in the office just not answering. Not a doctor i will support anymore.

Difficult to get an appointment, but for good reason! Small but fabulous practice. Love seeing Dr. Minaya! She makes annual visits actually enjoyable. Gets to know you on a professional and personal level. Very thorough and really knowledgeable. As a healthcare professional myself, I trust her completely. If she doesn’t know or is unsure, she seeks out consultation which is important in a constantly evolving medical profession. Stays up to date on evidenced based practice. Love her!

Dr. Minaya is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She’s a doctor that truly takes the time to listen and get to know you. She’s non-judgemental, honest, open, and kind. Also incredibly smart and gives great care. I recommend her to everyone!

Dr. Minaya was my first and only gynecologist until recently. I tested positive for an STD for the first time in my life. She called me with the news and unfortunately her interactions with both myself and my mother were extremely unprofessional and rid of any empathy. When I tried to ask questions, she quickly rushed to provide answers and stated "remember, no glove no love". My mother the next day went to pick up the test results from her office and waited until she was able to also speak with Dr. Minaya. She was snappy (for a lack of a better term) and also stern with my mother, though we have both seen her for most of our lives and thought we had a good relationship with her. My mother tried to explain to Dr. Minaya that I was worried about the results and Dr. Minaya replied by stating, "Oh NOW she's worried?!" and quickly proceeded to tell my mother that she "had to run". I was extremely upset by her lack of professionalism and have since sought care from another provider.

Very real and personable doctor who takes the time to explain conditions and results. Office staff is unhelpful and curt. Getting a hold of the doctor is difficult even in emergency situations, and will only communicate via fax.

It’s been some time since I’ve seen Evelyn Minaya. I will never forget her enormous ego and her small amount of knowledge. At one of the most difficult times in my life she was uncaring, ignorant and cruel. Good luck to her patients. Thankful I moved on to a specialist who knew what they were treating.

I met Dr. Minaya when we were both only 29 years old. I moved to Florida last year. I have not looked for a new ob/gyn doctor here yet as no one will compare. During a visit back to NJ in May, I was so grateful to get an appointment. I have never met a doctor who cares more than Dr. Minaya and bet I never will. Not only is she extremely educated and skilled, she also takes as much time with you as needed. Hands down...an amazing woman and doctor!!

She's incredible - kind, sincere, sense of humor, knowledgable. . . . I cannot recommend Dr. Minaya highly enough.
