Biography: Andrea Katz, MD, is a board-certified hematologist/oncologist who earned her medical degree from The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. She completed residency in Internal Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Yale University in New Haven, CT. From 2017 to 2023, Dr. Katz treated patients at 21st Century Oncology in Jupiter, FL, and, before that, at The Cleveland Clinic. She has been named one of Florida's Top Doctors every year since 2018. Dr. Katz has extensive research experience in hematology/oncology and is the author of numerous publications and presentations.

He prides himself on keeping up with the most advanced and cost effective therapies for cancer treatment. He is an advocate for the early management of discomfort and pain for cancer patients. Although chemotherapy is still frequently employed, he is excited to share new targeted and immunotherapy options with patients. Dr. Machado earned his medical degree with honors at Saba University School of Medicine in the Caribbean and undertook his residency training at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he was named Chief Resident. He obtained his sub-specialty training at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he completed his Oncology/Hematology fellowship and was named Chief Fellow.
