Dr. Samuel Myrick III, MD

Diagnosed with colon cancer and had to make I decision as to were to seek treatment after the surgery that removed the tumor. Considered going to some of the more highly rated facilities that were several hours away, but after meeting Dr. Myrick we decided to stay local. He has been exceptional. I really need to recognize the the nurses in the infusion center - I can't say enough about the standard of care they give and they are great about explaining the process. They are truly a gift to patients.My only complaint is the front office staff and labs. I have had to wait over an hour for blood draws! My observations led me to believe the practice is too successful. The facilities and front end staff struggle to keep up with the volume. Improvement is needed.

His kindness and his caring manner is so important. He treats you special, not as just another patient taking up his time! He goes over everything thoroughly and makes sure you understand.

Dr. Myrick is the true definition of a great doctor..and having him as my Oncologist is a blessing

Dr. Myrick asks questions and listens to my answers. He makes me feel important and treats me as an individual. He's willing to work overtime to find solutions to my medical problems. My daughter and I were speaking of him and we both said how we wished all doctors were like him, in all the ways he's outstanding.

Very warm, personable, professional doctor. Asked questions about family. Drew a diagram explaining our health issue and how it will be treated. Would highly recommend him.

Honest and focuses on the facts. Very thorough and has done great by me.

I have been a patient of Dr Myrick’s for over 10 years. Overall very satisfied. The only real problem is that he is always considerably late for appointments. Usually over an hour and always more than 30 minutes. I don’t know the root cause but more realistic appointment times should be scheduled. As I said I am happy with my overall care and I would not want to change doctors after being treated for CML since 2008 and monitored for also having CLL for the last several years.

I have been going to see Doctor for years and every time visits are always the same with kindness/concern/care for and with patient coming first.

He alwasy makes me feel as if I am his most important patient. I've been seeing him for 10 years now and his attitude towards me never changes. Easy to talk to. Will answer any question always optimistic and cheerful.

I see Dr Myrick regularly to monitor me for blood clots. I wouldn’t see another Doctor. He listens and very informative. He take takes your concerns into conversation. Most doctors just do what they do without thinking about the patients feelings or fears. Dr. Myrick is friendly and compassionate. Love this guy.

Thorough, personable, professional. What everyone would like in a doctor!

Follow up to head to thighs scans looking for metastatic cancer. None evident. Another scan scheduled in January.

Dr. Myrick listens to my questions and concerns and provides the best care I have received for this cancer. He orders tests when needed for side effects including chest x-rays, bone density and others as needed.

The whole office is attentive,,mostly on time,,surroundings are pleasant,,listens,travel an hour each way well worth it

Dr. Sam is my hero. He is honest and straight to the point. He has compassion Good or bad he is the top of his class.

Dr Myrick is knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. He has been great help in helping me treat my DVT. I am well pleased to have him as my doctor.
