Biography: Dr. Rajyaguru was born and raised in India. He finished his five year Medical School from India. He immigrated from India in 1987. He successfully passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in Medical Science (FMGEMS) conducted by the US government in 1988. He conducted research in the medical field and helped publish multiple research papers in medical journals. He then underwent the residency program for five years in the New York Metropolitan area. In those five years, he received intense training in the field of surgery, anesthesiology and pain management. He received experience in Hospital based and free standing Pain Clinics and treated many pain conditions. Subsequently, he opened his own Pain Clinic in Central Florida in 1995, known as Advanced Pain Clinic, PA. Dr. Rajyaguru is the medical director of Advanced Pain Clinic, PA since the establishment of the clinic. He has been practicing pain management full time since then in Central Florida.

Care Philosophy: As a Spine and pain management specialist, my goal is to help restore function (physical as well as cognitive) utilizing a multidisciplinary approach with application of advanced interventional techniques (including fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance), medication therapies (including membrane stabilizers), and psychotherapeutics. My main focus is finding the root cause of the pain and treating the cause rather than masking it with medication.

My practice is dedicated to the treatment of chronic pain, movement disorders and various spinal disorders. I am a strong proponent of personalized care. I believe that in the care of each patient a conscious effort needs to be placed on personal values and desires. Although not every clinical decision can be made solely on personal preferences, a patient&rsquos perspective on their individual needs to be understood and valued. I completed my medical studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and neurosurgical residency at West Virginia University. I then completed my training with a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Albany Medical Center. During my time there, I developed advanced skills and techniques in neuromodulation for chronic pain and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. My past research has focused primarily on improving clinical outcomes in chronic pain patients through the use of neuromodulation. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We enjoy traveling and enjoying outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking.
