Biography: Dr. Mariam Ashraf is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in anesthesiology and pain medicine.Dr. Ashraf received her Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She then completed her anesthesiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University and served as chief resident. She went on to complete a Tri-Insitutional Pain Fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Biography: Alina Masters-Israilov completed her undergraduate studies at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College in New York. She then attended medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn where she also completed her intern year in internal medicine. She finished her neurology residency and served as chief resident at the Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She then joined the Montefiore Headache Center to pursue her headache and facial pain fellowship, before joining as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She is the associate director for the neurology clerkship and the director for the headache elective for WCM medical students. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and of the American Headache Society, where she was recently awarded the "Frontiers in Headache Research" scholarship award for her research on the onabotulinumtoxinA wear-off phenomenon in chronic migraine.

Biography: Dr. Carl Paulino is an orthopedic surgeon in Brooklyn, New York and is affiliated with NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine.

Dr. Chien received the Resident Executive Committee Award from the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program (HCORP) and completed her orthopedic subspecialty fellowship in foot and ankle at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Chien is active in academic research, publishing many articles, abstracts, and book chapters on ankle fractures, the management of diabetic feet, infection prevention, and total ankle replacement. As more advanced techniques in reconstruction evolve, she hopes to focus on studying if newer technologies, such as advances in implants, make a difference and are cost-effective. Dr. Chien is an active member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society (RJOS), the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Medical Association (AMA), and serves as a representative for the Health Policy Committee. Dr. Chien enjoys global exchange in orthopedic foot and surgery and has traveled internationally to Colombia, Malawi, and India to teach and perform surgeries. Dr. Chien speaks conversational Spanish and is fluent in Chinese in addition to English. With her upbringing abroad and exposure to other parts of the world, she is passionate about learning different cultures and languages and connecting with a diverse patient population in and around New York.
