Biography: Dr. Thomas Bendowski is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He was born and raised in Northeastern PA, active in sports and drama in high school and attended the University of Scranton in PA, earning his BS in Biology. He went on to complete his MS in Physiology and his Medical Degree at Georgetown University. His internship was done in Honolulu after which he completed a utility tour in ER, 121st Evac Hospital in Seoul, Korea. He came back to Honolulu for his residency and was then stationed at Bassett Army Hospital in Fairbanks, AK. Leaving the cold north, he headed to Crystal River, FL in 1992 where he established his private practice. A husband, father to two beautiful children and grandfather to an awesome grandson, Dr. Bendowski enjoys skiing (snow and water), boating, cycling and running.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Richard Crank, DO, is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon caring for patients in Largo, Florida. Growing up on a farm, Dr. Crank learned the importance of hard work and dedication to family and career. This catapulted his desire to seek a career in Orthopedics. After, Dr. Crank completed medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, he also completed an Orthopedic surgery residency at Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida and an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at Orlando Health, in Orlando, Florida. After his fellowship, Dr. Crank practiced in Warrensburg, Missouri caring for the military families of Whiteman Air Force Base and the surrounding community. He was given an opportunity to return to Florida and practiced for eight years in Polk County and while there, he became the tertiary referral physician for complex hip and knee issues as well as complex Orthopedic trauma issues. Dr. Crank transitioned to Largo to build a practice and care for the community as well as be an integral part of the Orthopedic Residency at Largo. He specializes in Robotic and minimally invasive hip and knee surgery, as well as rapid recovery and outpatient joint replacement surgery. Dr. Crank also has a passion for complex hip and knee reconstruction and revision arthroplasty. Dr. Crank is on the Board of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, is the Chair of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) committee for the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and a Board examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. During his career, Dr. Crank has instructed many medical students, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, residents, and physicians for Orthopedic education.
