Care Philosophy: My passion is to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to women, throughout all stages of their reproductive lives. From adolescence and puberty, through pregnancy planning and birth, to menopause and beyond, I am driven to guide my patients through normal transitions and also to provide medical and surgical recommendations and treatments during these significant milestones when necessary.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Moore grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and completed her undergraduate studies at Xavier university of Louisiana. She received her degree of osteopathic medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 and did her training in family practice on Long Island in New York. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, National Medical Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Moore is an osteopathic family physician that provides disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment strategies to you and your entire family through all of life's stages, from infancy to end of life. She believes that your body, when properly treated and maintained, is capable of self-healing. Because osteopathic family physicians have an appreciation for the interrelationship between body, mind, and spirit, she feels that she can provide you with the most holistic and comprehensive medical care available. Dr. Moore's special interests are in women's health, pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and wellness/prevention. Prior to opening her own practice in July 2010, Dr. Moore worked in a community health center in St. Louis, Missouri, then later moved to Frisco, Texas in private practice. With a desire to move closer to family, Dr. Moore decided to move to Houston to start up there. When away from her practice, she enjoys family gatherings, reading novels, shopping, and traveling. She specializes in Adult (ages 17 ) offering preventive services (including assessments to help detect risk factors and early manifestation of disease) as well as treats acute care, new symptoms, and/or chronic conditions. When indicated, she closely collaborates with the following Clinic sub-specialties to ensure you receive the care you need in a timely fashion: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Medical Oncology Diabetes and Nutrition Education. Within our Clinic building, you'll have same-day access to in-house ancillary & diagnostic support services: Cardiology studies - non-invasive, Hearing & Vision testing, Chemotherapy & other Infusion Services, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology, Nutrition and ADA recognized Diabetes Education, Pulmonary Function Testing.

Biography: Dr. Seema Shah is board certified in infectious disease and internal medicine and has been in practice for over 30 years.She attended Stanford University and the University of Puerto Rico graduating in 1983. Dr. Shah then moved to Houston and completed an internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship, both at Baylor College of Medicine.During her career, Dr. Shah has served as a Department Chairman for the MacGregor Medical Association and Infectious Disease Committee Chairman for Houston Methodist Hospital. She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University College of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Houston Methodist Institute for Academic Medicine.Dr. Shah currently serves as the Houston Astros Team Infectious Disease Specialist. She is a member of several professional societies including Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Musculoskeletal Infection Society, and the Texas Medical Association (where she sat on the Committee on Infectious Diseases from 2012-2016).She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Internal Medicine, and the Subspecialty Board of Infectious Diseases.
