Biography: Dr. Miller, a native of the Philadelphia suburbs, spent the majority of his childhood growing up in southern California before returning to Pennsylvania where he finished his high school years at Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He played varsity soccer and competed in both trap and skeet shooting. He continued his education at Duke University where he majored in Economics, graduating with honors. Dr. Miller attended the Sidney Kimmel Medical College from 2009-2013. He was elected into the Hobart Amory Hare Medical Society for achieving high honors in pre-clinical education, the Samuel Gross Surgical Society for excellence in surgical clerkship, as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. During both his residency and fellowship, he also spent time working on and patenting a wound care device and continued to be involved in entrepreneurial work in the healthcare field. Immediately after completion of his fellowship, he spent several weeks abroad in Central America and Europe studying under pioneers in the field of peripheral nerve and arthroscopy before returning to Philadelphia to join his former mentors and colleagues at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Miller's clinical and research interests include upper extremity trauma, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve repair, as well as wrist arthroscopy and wrist injury. Biography: Dr. Gabriella Gutman is our Interventional Pain Management specialist. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders with specialty training in non-surgical care of neck and back pain.
