Biography: Dr. Thomas Bendowski is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He was born and raised in Northeastern PA, active in sports and drama in high school and attended the University of Scranton in PA, earning his BS in Biology. He went on to complete his MS in Physiology and his Medical Degree at Georgetown University. His internship was done in Honolulu after which he completed a utility tour in ER, 121st Evac Hospital in Seoul, Korea. He came back to Honolulu for his residency and was then stationed at Bassett Army Hospital in Fairbanks, AK. Leaving the cold north, he headed to Crystal River, FL in 1992 where he established his private practice. A husband, father to two beautiful children and grandfather to an awesome grandson, Dr. Bendowski enjoys skiing (snow and water), boating, cycling and running.

Biography: Rafael Velasquez, MD, attended residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama, and also completed a residency at Kansas University School of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine. Dr. Velasquez was born in Lima, Peru, and graduated from Federico Villarreal School of Medicine in 1993.
