Biography: Dr. Lutta is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in treatment of problems involving the foot and ankle. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital and went on to a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Messerly is passionate about getting patients of all ages back to doing the things they love. Foot and Ankle pain can be debilitating. He is committed to educating patients on all their options while helping them choose the pest option for their condition and lifestyle. Dr. Messerly believes every patient should be treated like family.

Biography: Dr. Michael L. Petranek is a native of the Washington, D.C. area. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University and continued his education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned a Doctorate in Podiatric medicine graduating as the Salutatorian. He completed a three-year surgical residency program at INOVA Fairfax and Georgetown University Hospitals. This specialized training enables him to diagnose and provide both conservative and surgical care for injuries, disorders, and diseases of the foot and ankle. Dr. Petranek enjoys working with patients of all ages and helping them return to full functional activity as soon as possible. Dr. Petranek is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
