In addition to general gastroenterology, he has specific experience in the management of inflammatory bowel disease, small intestinal disease and celiac disease. Dr. Sun believes in establishing a therapeutic partnership with his patients, and a close working relationship with his physician colleagues, in order to achieve the best outcomes. He takes the time to educate patients on their condition, treatment options and outcomes so they can make informed choices to feel their best. Dr. Sun is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Biography: Michael Connor, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterology and hepatology specialist with Premier Gastroenterology of Kansas City in Kansas City, MO, Overland Park, KS, Lee's Summit, MO and Belton, MO. He is affiliated with several area HCA Midwest Health hospitals, including Research Medical Center, Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center, Lee's Summit Medical Center, and Belton Regional Medical Center.Offering more than 18 years of experience, Dr. Connor specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders, such as stomach pain, ulcers, reflux, constipation and Crohn's disease. He specializes in many procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy. Dr. Connor has been recognized for his expert patient care, including a "Top Doc" recognition by the nursing staff at The University of Kansas Medical Center.Dr. Connor completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and served as Chief Resident for the Department of Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
